How to get 2-Hour, no-minimum Indian groceries delivery in San Francisco

So what's this about a 'no-minimum' delivery?

Have you ever ordered with us before? Well the process remains exactly the same- except this time, there is NO minimum order. No more figuring out what your total is, or if you've hit the minimum. Need one thing? Deal. Need one of everything? That's good too!

First time ordering? The process is simple! Check this guide here, or give us a call!

How much would it cost to get my Indian groceries delivered?

Fun fact: we began delivering groceries 10 years ago, and have never raised that rate. That's right! For ten years, we did not raise the delivery fee at all. We're pretty proud of that.

The delivery fee will no longer be a flat $8, but will instead be based on traffic and demand, dictated by the Uber app, as we have partnered with Uber to drive our deliveries. Based on our first round of trials, the most anyone paid for a delivery was $12.52, and they lived aaaallll the way out in the Sunset District. So chances are, you won't be charged more than that either.

Seriously? Two hour delivery? In San Francisco?

Since we no longer have to drive your Indian groceries for your delivery ourselves, we can send your groceries at any time that the shop is open. Place an order at 10am? We'll be there by noon. Place an order at 6pm? We'll be there by 8pm. No minimum order value, no minimum item number, no nothing. You tell us what you need, and we'll snap to make it happen.

Having driven around the city at all times and all neighborhoods, I can tell you that it takes 45 minutes to go from end to end when the traffic is the worst. It also takes us about 20 minutes to gather your items and confirm your order. That leaves exactly 55 minutes leftover. So in fact, this 2-hour delivery is a very generous estimate.

Just in case your delivery driver starts talking about how much they like chicken tikka masala, please keep in mind is that the deliveries will now occur via Uber, and their drivers don't necessarily represent our family at New India Bazar. If you have any questions, please call us right away. We want to make it right, right away.
